Malaysia

If you have never visited Malaysia before, you might be surprised at just how much it has going on for it. Not only is it a cultural highlight in many ways, but it can also prove to be particularly romantic too. With its amazing hotels and beaches, and some of the best consistently sunny weather anywhere in the world, you can be sure that Malaysia is absolutely a top honeymoon spot. Whatever kind of accommodation you are looking for, you can find it throughout Malaysia very cheaply, whether it’s 1 or 2 bedroom apartments for rent, or something more along the lines of a villa. You can find it all – and a great honeymoon also needs to be full of great food, of course, something else which Malaysia does very well indeed.

France

This one is so obvious that it just has to be mentioned, and chances are you have thought about it at least a little as you plan your honeymoon. For some, it might seem a little too cliched to visit Paris, but the truth is that it is a favourite for a very good reason. If you are keen on providing some classic old-style romanticism, then you don’t really need to look any further than Paris. But if you just want something simple and stripped-back, you can always consider going to other parts of France too. Go out to the Alps for a truly beautiful setting where you can get away from it all, and even perhaps go skiing in the days as well. It’s up to you what to do, but it’s a beautiful spot to do almost anything.

Scotland

Scotland is a truly stunning country, full of incredible landscapes of different kinds, and it is a less-known destination for those on a honeymoon. However, it’s incredible for that. If you want something quiet, there are thousands of choices of accommodation in the highlands to choose from where you can really get away from it all. Or maybe you would prefer to spend your time in Edinburgh, and take in some truly historic and beautiful sights that way. Either way, it’s beautiful, and you will find that the rolling hills, heather and highland cattle make for an incredibly idyllic romantic getaway.

Italy

There is so much romantic potential in Italy that it’s hard to know where to begin. From the beautiful Southern cities of Naples and new Pompeii, to some of the more ideal Northen spots such as Venice or Florence, there are just so many to choose from. No matter which you go for, you can be sure of an incredibly romantic time, and it’s no surprise that this is one country which tends to be a real favourite for many couples from all over the world. Italy can really provide some incredibly beautiful romantic spots and experiences, and it is almost considered the perfect honeymoon country for most people.

Bahamas
One of the more popular types of holiday, of course, is the sun and sea type, and these are just as good for honeymoons as for any other kind of getaway. If you are looking for such an experience for your honeymoon, you could do much worse than spend a few weeks in the beautiful Bahamas. There are a lot of places within the Bahamas to choose from, but as long as you go there anywhere you are likely to find some incredible experiences in which you can just sit back and relax and take it all in. This is perfect for those who just want to chill together and do nothing for a number of weeks, underneath a glorious sun.
